2. How to Measure Your Size Correctly

If you are measuring at home, precision is key. Use these two professional methods:

Method A: Measure an Existing Ring

Take a ring that already fits the intended finger perfectly. Use a ruler to measure the inner diameter (the distance across the center of the circle, excluding the metal). Match the millimeters to the chart above.

Method B: The Paper/String Method

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of your finger.

  2. Mark the exact spot where the paper overlaps.

  3. Lay the paper flat and measure the length against a ruler in millimeters. This is your circumference.

  4. Refer to the "Inner Circumference" column in the table above to find your size.

3. Tips for the Perfect Measurement

  • The Knuckle Rule: Your ring must be large enough to slide over your knuckle but snug enough not to rotate or slip off.

  • Time of Day: Measure your finger in the evening when your hands are warm. Fingers tend to be smaller in the morning or when cold.

  • Dominant Hand: Remember that your dominant hand’s fingers are usually half a size larger than your non-dominant hand.

  • Width Matters: For wide-band rings (above 5mm), we recommend choosing one size larger than your actual measurement for a more comfortable fit.
